This is most definetly true. I think you might have read about it on my blog, but last night I took an opportunity at my youth group, and I am very glad I took it. It was out of my comfort zone, but I am glad I did it, it was pretty fun, and I enjoyed trying something new. As my one leader at youth group says, if something makes you uncomfortable, do it! (Disclaimer: this does not apply to all things, it is for things that you should do, but might not want to, not things like jumping off cliffs into a pool of sharks or anything) :)
