witness.

who you are or say you are is a large part of your Christian witness. say your a Christian, then do opposite of Jesus' example, it sets a bad name or Christians. make sense? I doubt it. but trust me, I'm not saying I am a perfect witness. I'm not. but it is something I try hard at. I profess to be a Christian, so I try to act like one. I try to be a good Christian witness. if you imagine you weren't a Christian, you've met this person who is , later you see them, and they are always grumpy, upset, or high tempered. Is that going to make you want to be a Christian.. um, no, probably not. Say you meet a Christian, and, later you see them acting totally not Christ- like. Is that going to make you re-think all this? um, yeah, ,probably. evverything I just said is probably totally confusing. I'm just saying, I think that being a good example, making a good influence, following Christ's example, and being a Christian witness, may mean more to others than you think. It is my worst dream, to hinder someone from finding God. worst.

Wow, what a great post. I always try to be a good example for God too. It gets hard so many times, but like what you said it means more to others and God than we realize. I love the verse and image- such a great reminder Laura!!

It makes sense to me. That is my worst fear too, too lead someone away from God or to keep them from getting to God. It keeps me from doing many things. I don't do or say some things because I'm afraid that it will push people away from God. I need to trust God more, he's the one who causes people to come to him.
